Google Chrome latest update 71 will soon block all abuse and scam popup ads in end of 2018. last year's chrome update protected user from redirects and popups. however this new update brings you to protect against abusing ads.
Google Syas that " These ads trick users into clicking on them by pretending to be system warnings or "close" buttons that do not actually close the ad. Further, some of these abusive ad experiences are used by scammers and phishing schemas to steal personal information".
